20 Poems 20 Paintings: A Creative Warrior’s Journal shares a selection of poems I wrote while creatively processing the “quantum shift” of a Stage 3 Brain Cancer diagnosis in 2005.  It also shares paintings I created eight years later while getting through a heart-breaking divorce. Much more significantly, it provides an interactive platform that emulates the best practices I learned while healing.  I created this book to help cancer fighters, survivors, and people dealing with major life challenges process what they are going through.  In the book’s Preface, I explain that it is not “finished.” and that I intentionally designed it to facilitate co-authoring by those who purchase or receive it. After the Preface, the rest of the introductory section is about supporting the co-authors’ creative process and fostering connectivity. I encourage co-authors to give and receive healing support by sharing what they create with people who could benefit. When I see or hear about this, it is truly my dream come true.
